ARA Mechanical designed and constructed the mechanical and air conditioning services for Stage 1 of this major NSW Education project. The project comprised 11 buildings and delivers more than 150 new and refurbished teaching spaces, new sports facilities performance arts space, music rooms, libraries and administration facilities.
Back in 2020 ARA Mechanical commenced Mechanical Services at Chatswood Public School. With the Primary School now completed, we are well underway delivering the Chatswood High School works.
The impressive Q Building has been installed with weather sensors to track humidity and the outdoor temperature, providing occupants with the best air quality options to choose from. One option lights up the display panel to suggest opening windows due to all the elements being in place.
Building T is a state of the art basketball / performance hall installed with air conditioning and gas heaters designed to cope with the room volume and controlling temperatures.
The project includes a mechanical mix of installations such as condensers, roof fans, smoke detectors, timed toilet exhausts and weather sensors.
It’s good to see that the comfort of all the students and staff attending the Schools has been a priority. Congratulations to our team and Richard Crookes Constructions on the successful completion of the Primary School works and good luck with the remaining works for Buildings H and M.
