The West Connex project is one of Australia’s largest road infrastructure projects, aimed at relieving congestion on Sydney’s existing M5 East corridor, and improving connectivity from the M5 corridor to the Sydney Gateway precinct comprising Sydney Airport, Port Botany and southern Sydney.
ARA Mechanical was engaged by the New South Wales Government to design and install air conditioning systems in the electrical rooms and within the underground tunnel, including ventilation structures located at the exit of each tunnel to remove air from inside.
